Setting up your company in France
Doing business in France with your own company or one-man business
Do you want to start up a business in France or take over an existing company? Our legal & financial department is here to help you with all the formalities involved in setting up, modifying and closing down your company or one-man business. We work together in three steps.
Step 1: Research on creation or takeover
Our start-up consultants get to work with all available project information and provide tailor-made advice. This way you make the best choice when starting your new business.
Are you going for a takeover? Then our experts carry out an additional audit. During this audit we look at all aspects of the company you wish to take over, including:
- Financial health
- Accounting techniques
- Social and legal management
After this thorough audit you will receive a clear report with conclusions on the current state of the business and possible optimisation. So you know where you stand and there are no surprises.
Step 2: registration
After the preparatory work, we get down to work on the actual set-up of your company or takeover. Together with you we choose the most advantageous legal construction. For example, a company in its own name, a foreign company without an establishment in France or the classic “SARL”.
Of course, we will prepare all relevant legal documents, such as company statutes and registration forms. Our legal department will follow up your file from the draft stage to the final registration.
Step 3: permanent follow-up
Your company is dynamic, just like your business context. Our legal department is always there for you, providing ongoing support for all formalities and changes. Here are just a few of the services on offer:
- Change of registered office
- Opening and closing of secondary branches
- Change of name
- Capital increase
- Appointment of a supervisory director
- Transfer of company shares
Your personal account manager also takes care of the statutory annual filing of documents where necessary.
